Spreading Love Foundation partnered with Anthem, Gotham Food Pantry, BCA Global, and NYCHA tenant leaders to host the Bronx River Houses Community & Nutrition Health Fair. In just three hours, the event served over 300 households, distributed 15,000 pounds of rescued food, provided health and nutrition education, live cooking demonstrations, and essential hygiene supplies—bringing hope, healthier living, and stronger community connections to Bronx families.
When organizations come together with a shared purpose, meaningful change happens.

For many families, the event represented far more than receiving groceries.
Moments like these remind us why our work matters. Food insecurity affects more than empty cupboards—it impacts health, education, emotional well-being, and opportunity. By bringing together nutritious food, health education, and community resources in one accessible location, we help families meet immediate needs while creating pathways toward long-term resilience.

This event would not have been possible without the collaboration and commitment of our partners. Together with Anthem, Gotham Food Pantry, BCA Global, NYCHA tenant leaders, dedicated volunteers, and community supporters, we demonstrated what can be achieved when organizations unite around a common mission.
Every rescued meal distributed reduced food waste. Every workshop empowered families with practical knowledge. Every conversation strengthened the bonds that make communities thrive.

At Spreading Love Foundation, we believe lasting change happens when communities are supported with dignity, compassion, and opportunity.
This health fair was not simply about distributing food—it was about restoring hope, promoting healthier living, and reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported.
This is what Spreading Love looks like in action.
Not a handout.
A hand-in-hand partnership with the community.
