A Little Warrior's Journey: Baby Samantha's Story
Baby Samantha, a 3-year-old with Dysplastic Right Hip (DDH), found relief through a successful surgery at FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital. The Spreading Love Foundation, aided by generous donors, contributed significantly to the $5,000 procedure, transforming Samantha's life and bringing joy to her family.
Meet Baby Samantha, a 3-year-old bundle of joy who has faced more challenges in her short life than many of us face in a lifetime. Diagnosed with Dysplastic Right Hip (DDH), Samantha's young life was marked by discomfort and pain. But with the help of Spreading Love Foundation and the generosity of donors like you, Samantha's story is taking a turn for the better.
The Diagnosis and Procedure
After being examined by Dr. Arthur Sackeyfio, it was determined that Samantha would require surgery to correct her condition. The procedure, Open Reduction Derotational Osteotomy + DHS Screw, was estimated to cost around $5,000, including professional fees and hospital charges. This was a daunting figure for Samantha's family, but thanks to the kindness of strangers, they were able to find the help they needed.
A Successful Surgery
Thanks to the generosity of donors, Samantha's surgery was successfully performed at the FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital. Dr. Sackeyfio expertly performed the procedure, and Samantha is now on the road to recovery. Her mother is overjoyed, and we've been told that Samantha is sitting better and straighter than before.
