Community Care Day: Spreading Love and Support
On Tuesday, July 6, 2024, our talented interns, Kayla Rodriguez and Kimi Adjete, organized and executed an outstanding Community Care Day event as part of their curriculum at Spreading Love Foundation. The theme, “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Healthy Community,” was woven throughout the event, which aimed to provide vital resources and support to those in need.
Event Highlights
Two tables were set up on the sidewalk, offering a variety of items completely free to anyone who walked by. Our goal was to give back to the community and promote overall wellness. The tables were stocked with:
- Table 1: 53 sandwiches, water, drinks, and chips
- Table 2: Books, hand sanitizers, food vouchers, hygiene supplies, local resource lists, socks, and wipes

Our dedicated interns worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success, distributing essential items to members of the community. Their compassion and commitment were evident in every aspect of the event.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and make a positive impact. The Community Care Day event demonstrates the power of kindness, empathy, and collective effort. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our interns, Kayla and Kimi, and look forward to future events that promote healthy bodies, minds, and communities.
