Dear Spreading Love Community,
The Spreading Love Foundation, in collaboration with Klassique Salon, recently hosted a highly successful 2-day intensive weave-making training event at the Dream City Chapel in Accra. This annual event aimed to equip individuals with valuable hair care skills, promoting self-sufficiency and confidence.
Attendees learned essential techniques in wig fixing, hair ventilation, traditional hairstyling, and products knowledge. The training addressed a significant need in the community for accessible and affordable hair care education.
Our mission is to empower individuals with skills that enable them to be self-sufficient, rather than relying on daily handouts. By teaching a trade or skill, we provide the tools needed to build a brighter future.
Ms. Mary Minnah, Training Coordinator, shared her passion for giving back to the community by sharing her expertise and experience in hair training. Mrs. Yaa Adoma Walker, Country Manager of Spreading Love Foundation Inc., emphasized the program’s impact, stating, “This initiative is a beacon of hope and empowerment, changing individual destinies and shaping a brighter future for our communities.”
Upon completing the training, each participant received a Certificate of Training and Completion, recognizing their newfound skills and knowledge in hair care.
We extend our gratitude to Apostle Papa Cudjoe Ahiabah and our partners, Klassique Salon, Klassique Travels, Yaa Adoma Music, and Dream City Chapel, for their support.
At Spreading Love Foundation, we believe in transforming lives, one skill at a time. Join us in spreading love and empowering communities through education and skill-building initiatives.
Until next time,
Spreading Love Foundation Team.
