The Foundation put smiles on the faces of several new mothers at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital in Mampong where they gifted them with several baby supplies.
Speaking to www.nydjlive.com, the founder said;
“As women, we recognize the joy that comes with the birth of a baby. Sometimes that joy is short-lived because of the thought of going home to struggle to buy diapers and basic needs for the baby.
We, therefore, decided to put smiles on the faces of new mothers by giving them the initial basic baby supplies that they will need at home for the few weeks after hospital discharge. Supplies such as diapers, wipes, bathing supplies, sanitary pads, towels among others.”
She further stated, “We also know that postpartum depression is something most mothers suffer although it is often not acknowledged. Our donation is our way of letting them know that someone cares for them and it goes a long way to reduce postpartum depression.
This act of kindness brings smiles and joy to the hearts of the mothers, their families and the entire hospital staff. The thought that someone cares about them and their baby is overwhelming.”
Committed to making life extremely easy for many others, the foundation recently donated several items to the Royal Seed Orphanage in Accra, Ghana.
