Spreading Love Foundation Inc. Partners P.S 236 Langston Hughes For A Breakfast And Thanksgiving Giveaway
In partnership with P.S 236 Langston Hughes, the Foundation organised a breakfast and Thanksgiving Giveaway during which they gave out turkeys, hygiene kits, veggies, gift baskets, test kits, hand sanitisers, lip balms and face masks.
On Thursday, November 16th, 2023, parents at 1871 Walton Avenue Bronx, NY 10453 experienced the benevolence of Spreading Love Foundation Inc.
In partnership with P.S 236 Langston Hughes, the Foundation organised a breakfast and Thanksgiving Giveaway during which they gave out turkeys, hygiene kits, veggies, gift baskets, test kits, hand sanitisers, lip balms and face masks.
As November marks World Diabetes Awareness Month, the organisers capitalized on the opportunity to educate the beneficiaries. They reiterated the need to be conscious of the alarming growth of diabetes cases in the black and brown communities and check in with their primary care Physicians for annual checkups and blood work.
One of the beneficiaries, a parent said, “Thank you for being here for us today. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean a lot.”
Fulfilled by the gesture, Ms. Boodram, the Assistant Principal, P.S. 236 prayed the event would bring lasting memories to the beneficiaries and called on other organizations to do the same.
The organisers also expressed their appreciation to the sponsors and partners for making the event successful and looked forward to organising more fruitful events that would be beneficial to society.
